Multimedial exhibition in Cēsis Castle shines again

In the Cēsis Castle is an unique exhibition for Latvia available “Multimedia story of Cēsis castle”, which invites the visitors to experience amazing multimedia story about Cēsis Castle, by reliving the most important historical events and feel the ancient atmosphere.

Audiovisual projections are used as the artistic approach. They cover cover castle towers’ 3rd floor room in 270 degrees. The visitor is standing in a room which changes together with centuries by reconstructing events, historical facts, castle’s interior design elements and everyday rhythm. Historic window ales are used for projected illusion of castle’s surroundings and illustrates its development and wars.

The multimedia exhibition "The Story of Cēsis Castle" is open until the end of September.

From May 16, the Cēsis Castle complex has opened to visitors the first two floors of the museum's exposition, the Western Tower of the medieval castle, the multimedia exhibition "Cēsis Castle Story", the medieval castle kitchen garden and the Exhibition House. Opening hours in May from Wednesday to Sunday 10:00 - 18:00, on Mondays and Tuesdays - closed. Tickets can be purchased at the visitor center without prior registration.
