Līgatne Spoon Workshop will give you an opportunity to reveal old secrets of woodenware making.

The cozy workshop entices with its warmth and scent of natural wood which is so close to the Latvian spirit! Here you can hear enlightening stories about different properties of wood, and see how beautiful and durable items are made from simple pieces of wood.

In Līgatne Spoon Workshop workshop, you can view and make wooden items from more than 17 tree species that can be found in Latvia. Each species has an unusual colour, structure, treatment compliance, as well as usage options.
