Sigulda City Ski Track

The City Track is located 52 kilometres from Riga, in Sigulda, in the valley of the river Gauja. You can enjoy physical activities or unforgettable scenic views here. The most physically challenging hill, the longest descent, the widest slope, modern equipment, a  picturesque view–all of this characterizes the Sigulda City Track. Three illuminated tracks (350, 200 and 50 metres long) offer a wide array of winter activities to anyone who is ready to surrender to gravity in an athletic or a graceful manner. All major Baltic and Latvian competitions take place directly on this track. Latvian unofficial speed record for mountain skis were set on our ski track – 112 km/h. Track is modernly equipped and snow coverage is ensured by 6 snowguns and snow groomer.

 

Ski School (SkiFox) offers ski and snowboard lessons with certified instructors who have completed their first and second level of instructors and sports coaches education in Ski schools in Austria, Switzerland and Norway, as well as a lot of experience working in Latvia and abroad. Other possibilities: cafe, WC, ski rental and equipment maintenance.
