Lake Ungura

A camping and picnic sites are found on the northern bank. Lake Ungura is significant to fresh water plant communities, which are found also in shallow waters – close to the shores. The lobelia–isoetale communities are found here (rare elsewhere in Latvia). This is sort of a „conflict zone” bteween various nature protection measures and recreation activities on the banks of the lake.
