The hotel where the cosy Hotel "Sigulda" Restaurant is located was built in 1890, after the opening of the significant Riga–Saint Petersburg railway. At that time, the owner of hotel Sigulda was duke Nikolai Kropotkin, who often welcomed visitors from Saint Petersburg in his refined hotel, located in the very heart of the city. It was thanks to the duke’s good taste that the mysterious nature of Sigulda became such a popular leisure place among travellers!
Time has passed and the world has changed, but hotel Sigulda and its restaurant have been welcoming guests with true care and love for 125 years already.
