Awarded photographer from Canada travels Gauja National Park

Photographer Paul Zizka and his wife, writer Meghan J. Ward, were fascinated by the pristine nature and cultural heritage of Gauja National Park. Zizka family got to know Gūtmaņa Cave, Līgatne cellar caves and cliffs, the geological trail along the Amata river rich in rocks and sandstone outcropss.

Paul Zizka is an award-winning mountain landscape and adventure photographer based in Banff, Canada. Paul’s images have been featured on countless book covers and in a variety of highly regarded publications, including National Geographic, Wall Street Journal, Alpinist, Maclean’s, Canadian Geographic, Islands, and Outdoor Photographer.
