Valmiera Summer Theatre Festival

The Valmiera Summer Theatre Festival this year will take place August 2-4. The programme of the theatre festival is based on especially for the festival created works consisting of professionals known at national and international level. In unaccustomed places and original forms, in the urban environment of Valmiera are performed shows that entertain, enrich, provoke and certainly do not leave cold the visitors of the festival. In addition to the theatre performances, there are open-air cinema evenings, musical and gastronomic adventures, creating a rich summer art festival in the urban environment. The 2019 festival will be dedicated to children and teenagers with the theme “Live City.” A city with its own life, thoughts, body and other characteristics of a living being.
