1. Fourth Swing festival in Sigulda

All Easter holiday - "Latvia is swinging in Sigulda". During the Swing Festival in Sigulda there will be more than 100 different swings, as swinging in Easter is a traditional thing for us, Latvians. Ask and receive special swing roadmap in Sigulda tourism Information centre at the Central Station. 

2. Easter market and celebration in Cesis

Saturday, April 20th, 9:00 - 15:00 in Rose Squar - The local delicacies market, which will be attended by around 40 different home producers and craftsman. See, smell, try and buy countryside bread, wines, dairy products, cheeses, culinary delicacies, pastries and much more as well as explore products from local craftsmen: various jewelry, wooden products, clay products and many other.

Sunday, April 21st, 11:00 -  The annual Easter celebration in Maija Park, where you will be able to paint Easter eggs, weave birch twigs and learn folk traditions. 

3. Prepare for Easter at Araisi Archaeological Park

On Saturday, April 20, from 12:00 in Araisi Archaelogical Park - be together, share the experience of celebrating Easter by painting eggs, taking part in swing decoration workshop or even sailing on the beautiful Lake Āraiši. Folklore group “Ore” will bring out the Easter games and sing traditional songs. The culmination of the event will be the "egg hunt" in the park area - hunt around 500 hidden eggs.

4. Easter in Ungurmuiza manor

April 21st, at 12:00 -15: 00, Ungurmuiža -  join to the traditional egg coloring and rolling activities and enjoy the manor swings, while Ungurmuiza restaurant offers delicious pancakes and soup in the ancient manor park. All in a company of manor bunnies!

5. Easter hike at Cecīļu Nature Trails

6. Easter in Malpils Manor

April 21st from 12:00 - 16:00 - Family Easter event - creative mask making and egg painting workshop for kids. At the Manor Park there will be swings and egg roller coaster, 30 hidden eggs in the park and the strongest egg challenge.
