“Placebo” will kick off an ambitious concert season in Sigulda in June

Tickets will be available in advance at the “Biļešu serviss” box office, including online. Tickets will go on sale to the public from 14 October 2021 at 10.00.

Due to the capacity of the Sigulda Castle Ruins Stage, only 4 000 tickets will go on sale.

“Placebo” was founded back in 1994 when singer, composer and multi-instrumentalist Brian Molko met guitarist Stefan Olsdal, who are remaining the core of the band today. With 13 million records sold over 25 years, “Placebo” is undoubtedly one of the leading alternative rock artists. The band’s debut album paved the way for a profound change in British music, acting as a stark contrast to the dominant Britpop of the time and inspiring a host of other bands to follow their lead. Placebo’s extraordinary hit list includes “Pure Morning”, “Nancy Boy”, “Special K”, “The Bitter End”, “Every You Every Me”, “Twenty Years”, “Song To Say Goodbye”, “Special Needs”, “Honey”, “This Picture”, “Infra-Red”, “Black-Eyed”, “Ashtray Heart”, “Battle For The Sun”, “Because I Want You”, “Teenage Angst”, “Slave To The Wage”, “Sleeping With Ghosts” and more.
