ITB Berlin NOW virtual exhibition - for the promotion of Gauja National Park municipalities and tourism entrepreneurs

02.03.2021
Enter Gauja in cooperation with the Latvian Investment and Development Agency (LIAA) will participate in the world's leading tourism exhibition ITB Berlin NOW, which will take place from March 9 to 12, as a virtual event. It is attended annually by representatives from around the world, bringing together around 60,000 individual visitors and more than 120,000 industry representatives.

Given the limitations of COVID, this year the exhibition will take place digitally, providing the tourism industry with an online platform to meet its potential business partners in one place. The exhibition is intended for establishing business contacts and expanding advertising opportunities. The emphasis of this exhibition is on organizing business meetings and discussions with potential partners, tour operators, tourism journalists and advertising specialists. The Enter Gauja office will use the mentioned platform to promote the Gauja National Park municipalities, tourism entrepreneurs and cluster’s Enter Gauja members, as well as the versatile tourism offers of the Gauja National Park.

The tourism offer in foreign exhibitions is popularized by representing the GNP destination brand "Enter Gauja". Since 2012, the local governments in the territory of the Gauja National Park - Sigulda, Cēsis, Valmiera, Līgatne, Amata, Pārgauja, Kocēni and Priekuli - have been implementing the strategy of the Gauja National Park as a single tourism destination.

Enter Gauja is a Gauja region tourism cluster created by the Gauja National Park Tourism Association, which includes the region's leading tourism service providers in the field of entertainment, recreation, catering and accommodation.
