Cross-country skiing trails in Turaida Museum Reserve

A cross-country skiing trail has been created in the Turaida Museum Reserve, and it will be available to visitors starting January 10 during museum opening hours, provided weather conditions are suitable.
Tracks have been laid for two routes, 1.3 km and 2.3 km long. This is a great opportunity to combine physical activity with enjoying the wonderful winter scenery of the Turaida Museum Reserve, as well as to explore the reserve from a less familiar perspective. The new skiing routes are well suited for those who prefer to avoid crowds and wish to ski at their own pace without being disturbed. The skiing routes are available to visitors who bring their own equipment.

Skiing on the Turaida Museum Reserve cross-country trails is possible by purchasing a special promotional ticket for 3.00 euros (Year 2026).
