Saule Park (Sun Park) in Priekuļi

The Saule Park in Priekuļi features a health trail and the unique Sun clock, which shall only reveal the time if you will be part of it.

Locals have planted 150 trees in the Saule Park, and it features the largest analemmatic sundial in Latvia.

The visitors shall take part in the process by themselves to see what time is it. You can be the hand of the clock. Should you stand on the title of the relevant month, which is depicted on the scale in the centre, the shadow will point the exact hour.

Take the Health Trail that leads through the park to learn about the Latvian medical plants, get feet massage and take up the energy from the earth.

There is a sculpture in the park called Priekuļi Dūdieviņš — a small boy who has stepped on a grey boulder with his arms wide open towards the sky. The sculpture invites each and every one to enjoy the beauty of nature with all of ones senses.
