Konrāda Kafē

At Konrāda Kafē, the idea is to create a true sense of home — a place where locals can return for their favourite breakfast, lunch or coffee, while visitors to Cēsis can discover Latvia through its flavours.

The menu is rooted in Latvian cuisine, interpreted in our own way, with a strong focus on local and seasonal produce and a growing use of organically sourced ingredients. Alongside familiar breakfast favourites, you will find distinctly Latvian flavours and ingredients — from herring and Baltic herring to rye bread, cottage cheese and Konrāds’ own delicate take on rosols, the beloved Latvian potato salad.

Breakfast is served all day, so there is no need to rush. As evening approaches, stay a little longer over a glass of wine, house-fermented lemon kvass or one of the café’s homemade lemonades.

Konrāda Kafē is an inviting place to stop after wandering through the cobbled streets of Cēsis Old Town — to enjoy a good meal, warm up and simply take in the everyday rhythm of the town. A place where locals can feel at home and travellers can taste a little of Latvia.
