If you want to light a solstice fire, come to the group! Every worthy mountain deserves its own Solstice bonfires. And Ozolkalns is perhaps the mountain with the most beautiful views on private property.
Let's light 3x9 bonfires together in Ozolklans. Let's tie 3x9 bouquets of flowers for ourselves, our loved ones, our country. Let's learn about Solstice traditions and sing together with the sounds of music instrument kokle. Let's share the treats.
The fire ritual will be led by the owner of Dievkalni, Eva Mežecka, who has inspired and trained Latvians to celebrate Solstice in their Latvian homes. If the solstice is not celebrated in your family yet, come and be inspired, because it is a beautiful way to strengthen families and spend this blessed time blessedly.
Singing with kokle will be led by Laura Laugale, better known as the creator of Koklu Mežs. It is a digital platform where you can learn to play kokle remotely from all over the world.
We dress up in national elements or light clothes, it is preferable to come in wreath. Wreaths can also be woven from the plants of Ozolkalns, if you come earlier and enjoy the magic of Saulstavja in the meadows of the mountain. Rarer plants also grow there, maybe you will be able to find them.
We meet at the open air stage - Saulrieta glass cabins, leaving the car in the ski parking lot.
