The circular route, which is about six kilometers long, will lead you through the industrial part of the city of Valmiera - Pārgauja, allowing everyone to discover interesting stories about the industrial heritage of the city and its development, starting from the 20th century until today.
The starting and ending point of the bike ride is the sculpture "Valmiera Puikas". The adventure will last approximately three hours and will be an easy ride with stops for various activities and tasks. For your safety, we recommend the use of bicycle helmets.
Participation in the bike ride is free. In order to participate, advance registration is mandatory by July 22, by calling 26332213, writing an e-mail to tic@valmierasnovads.lv , or by coming in person to the Valmiera Tourism Information Center , Rīgas iela 10 (from July 20, Bruninieku iela 1, Valmiera). The number of places in the bike ride is limited!
Photographs and videos may be taken during the event, photographs and video materials may be used for publicity purposes of the municipality of Valmiera region.
