The largest national park in Baltics protects the rich nature of the ancient Gauja River valley and its surrounding areas as well as the vast diversity of plant, bird and insect species found here.

Day 1

Devonian period trasures and forest surrounded glemping

Cecīļu Nature Trail  lays in Amata valley and invite visitors to see the nature untouched by the human – Dančupīte River Canyon, Dančupīte Cave, a miniature waterfall, the impressive Cecīļi Rock from the right bank of Kumada River, Cecīļi Pine, which is one of Latvia’s secular trees, as well as other objects. 

Sediments of the Devonian period, such as sandstone, can be found throughout Latvia. On the surface of the earth, they can be seen in the places of natural outcrops, in several ancient valleys created during the Ice Age, for example - the ancient valley of Amata, which is important not only for its natural landscapes, its banks are decorated with dolomite and sandstone outcrops, which reveal the pages of the earth's history in the distant past of 350-400 million years. When the territory of Latvia was still covered by a shallow and warm sea, which housed the armored fish characteristic of the Devonian period. Fragments of their fossils can be viewed in the Cecīļi nature trail cashier's house.

The therapeutic effect of the forest on the human body and mind is especially valued in Latvia. Glemping "Keep the wild and free" is a place to be alone with your thoughts or in solitude with your loved one. The dome tent is simple in it’s layout - cozy, open-plan living space with a panoramic window overlooking the forest lake, a double bed, a small kitchen work surface and a stove for making coffee or tea. 

Warming up in the sauna tent will make your stay unforgettable, this experience is recommend to everyone... warm up and dive into the soft water of the forest lake.

Day 2

Boating in river and nature permeated sauna ritual

Boating in Gauja National Park rivers let visitors see the most - pine and deciduous forests, blooming meadows, countless Devonian period cliffs and sandstone rocks. With each new turn and rowed centimeter feel the primeval nature that enchants and inscribesi in memories and  heart!

Rivers Gauja, Amata and Brasla flow through valleys offering variety of landscapes and different distances boating routes.

Day 3
