Burtnieka lake festival

This summer, at the festival, there will be an opportunity to watch the dance performance "Samauc smieklus!?...", choreography by Agra Danilevich, the dance school "Dzirnas" and the children and young people of the Burtnieki neighborhood will participate. You will be able to experience childish joy, laughter and playfulness in every event. As usual, holiday guests will also have access to various recreational opportunities by the water, concerts, holiday markets and tastings. At the end of the holiday - a green ball!

Active part of the holiday and creative workshops

At 11:00 a.m., we will open the Burtnieka Lake festival at the gates of the festival with a welcome from the musical sculpture quartet of Liepāja traveling circus "Beztemata". The activities will take place on the beach of the Burtnieki center and in the boat channel in Burtnieki. Inflatable attractions "Free Fall", face painting, water balls, Orbitron three-dimensional swing and other activities will be available for children and young people on the beach. On the other hand, you can ride boats and catamarans at the Burtnieki boat channel and in the lake, there will be cruises with the pontoon boat "Made Marija"*, and you will also be able to go horse riding*.

From 14:00 to 17:00, families and other interested parties are invited to joy, laughter and fun workshops for all ages with Liepāja's traveling circus "Beztemata" on the beach of the Burtnieku Center from 14:00 to 17:00, and they will also be able to participate in various creative workshops related to environmental education. Children will also enjoy soap bubble adventures together with "Mārtiņa bubbles".

The Burtniekas zandarts brand will also be presented for the first time at the Burtniekas lake festival. You will be able to watch a zandart cooking master class.

Dance performance "Sounds laughter!?...", choreography by Agra Danilevich

21.00 on the beach of Burtnieku Center you will be able to watch the dance performance "Call for laughter!?...", choreography by Agra Danilevich*. Dancers from the dance school "Dzirnas" will participate together with children and young people from the Burtnieki neighborhood. Agris Daniļevičs tells about what is to come in the performance, that we will put the counterweight of lies, anger and envy on the balance cup, in order to call together childlike true joy, happiness, jokes, laughter and love. The choreographer invites you not to let go of the joy gained during the musical dance event, nor after it: "We will continue to sow laughter and joy all around, so that this goodness takes over ourselves, our families, friends, the whole world and continues to live in our hearts."

Music and dancing

Ainars Mielavs will perform at the Burtnieka lake festival at 18.00 on the beach of the Burtnieka center with the concert "You moved me". Children's and young people's performances will also delight during the festivities: duet "Maybe", artistic gymnasts of the Burtnieku Youth Center and Rudolfs Edvards Siliņš.

Holiday market

During the Burtnieka lake festival, a market of homemakers and artisans will be held at Burtnieku manor park from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
